The Month of Peace in RI this September was a huge success thanks to the many organizations who created events and the many people who participated in the events. There were 25 peace events held all around RI throughout the month of September.  The month was off to a great start with a Peace Walk at WaterFire. Then all month long we had dances for peace, meditations,  performances by musicians, storytellers, spoken-word artists, singers for peace; thoughtful speakers for peace; a nonviolence training; art for peace — and last, but not least — the making of peace flags! Thank you all for your participation. It was wonderful to bring together programs that reflect the many aspects of peace, showing how much effort the people of RI put into peace and nonviolence.
